Bay Law Firm was established in 2018 when Founder and Managing Attorney, Ashley Broussard, saw a need for clients to get convenient, high quality legal services in the areas of business immigration, personal injury, and IRS tax controversy. Bay Law Firm has grown with its clients, sharing and sustaining their success and meeting their growing needs. Ashley has extensive experience in matters involving business immigration, personal injury, and IRS tax controversy, and this experience allows her to evaluate complex legal questions and get her clients effective results. Her client focused style of practice led to her receiving the Clients’ Choice Award 2019 by Avvo.
Ashley is also an active member of her community. Ashley was named 2020 Pro Bono Hero by The Florida Bar Foundation. She has contributed to the community through legal, environmental, and mentoring services including, but not limited to, providing services as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Volunteer at City of Orlando, Volunteer at Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, Volunteer Attorney at Gulfcoast Legal Services, and Co-Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association - Immigration & Nationality Law Section.
Prior to her legal career, she gained experience with business operations and financial experience while working for fortune 500 companies. Ashley became a Florida licensed attorney in 2018 and was admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court in 2019 and U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 2020.
Ashley Broussard has been devoted to the legal profession since 2013. She began her legal career working in personal injury where she provided legal services to those injured in automobile accidents. Ashley then practiced employment-based immigration law for businesses, and her extensive experience allowed her to develop expertise in a wide variety of business disputes and issues. Ashley graduated sum cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University. She later obtained a Juris Doctorate from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida with an Honors Certificate. During her studies in law school, she was a student representative for Thomson Reuters, served as a Day Student Liaison & Membership Chair Service for the American Constitution Society, and interned for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court.
